I am proud to be an American because we have so much more freedom, we have men and women willing to fight for our rights and not want anything in return other than a thank-you, or great job. I love it, I couldn't ask for anything more!

i'm proud to be an american because, particularly as a woman, in another place, i might not have any civil liberties. I might not be allowed to choose whom I married,be allowed to support myself, make decisions for my family,or have the right to disagree or rebel against things that effect me! My life is so wonderful compared to that of many women around the globe!
As a military wife (who's hubby is deployed) I can tell you I am proud to be an American, because despite our flaws, we have the right to have those flaws. We have opportunity.
I am proud to be an American because of the freedom that we have. My brother-in-laws are both military and I am proud of the dedication that they have and how they put their own lives on hold to support our country. Thank you for the giveaway- I love that shirt and my son would wear it proudly!
I make my own decisions, have a decent paying job and can help provide for my family and as an American I dont think you can have any more pride then that. Im proud of what I have accomplised as an Amrican woman

I'm proud to be an american because we have the freedom to raise our children the way we see fit. They will have much more opportunities in their life than most other children in the world.
Im proud of the fact that we can safely walk outside our own home, send our kids to school, drive over to home depot or wherever and not worry so much. That our kids can grow up and decide what they want to do with their future, and make the most of it without too many restrictions.
I can vote and don't have to cover my face in public.

I am proud to be an american, because the men and women in our military CHOSE to be there, they aren't forced. They are fighting because they believe in what we stand for.
I am proud to be raising 6 children, two of them already doing ROTC, and one of them planning on enlisting in 2010, because she believes in her country.
I believe in American because we all carry the pride in us for our country, and many of us, still won't listen to the Dixie Chicks. :)

I have been alive for almost 52 years and from what I have seen and read, this country is the best in the world! I am proud because my dad who will be turning 90 years young in July is a veteran of WWII. It is so easy to not think about all the wonderful necessities we have, like running water, food to eat, clothes to wear, while others have nothing. Thanks, Cindi

im proud of the country i live in. AMERICA. we have it so much better then any other country in the world. not just by having rights and law services, but also because of the qaulity of life and living. we have clean streets, healthy environments, clean water and plenty of food, and safe places to live and work, and the ability to raise a happy, and healthy family with a sturdy roof over our heads.

In America, our children will grow up in a country with more rights and freedoms than 90% of the world. We are so lucky and fortunate to have been born Americans - I just wish we could recognize and appreciate this every day! I am extremely proud and thankful to be an American!

I am proud to be an American because I know that even if I disagree with those in power, I have the right to express my opinion. I have the right to freely exercise my religious beliefs.
I'm proud to be an American because of the beliefs the country was founded upon and because of the vast opportunities it offers. We are certainly flawed but we have the right to challenge for change. We can speak our minds, assemble, protest, practice or not practice religious beliefs, educate ourselves and vote.

What makes me proud to be an American? The choices I have in raising my children, how many kids I can have, the opportunities for them as they get older. We still live in a country where a dream means something, and nobody can tell you otherwise. I'm proud that here, we all have a voice.
Proud to be an American means to be able to have freedom to do as we please and enter awesome contests like this one!

I am proud to be an American because you can truly speak your mind and not fear being imprisioned or executed. Also Where else can you have any job you want coming from nothing.

I am proud to be an American because my grandmother came here from europe when she was 16 years old, all by herself to have a hope of having a good life. She worked hard and studied hard and gave her family a strong model. I am proud of her because not many 16 year olds have the courage to go through that kind of hardship. When I find things hard I think of her and am grateful she sacrificed so I can live free.
I am proud to be American, because there is no country with the freedoms we enjoy and sometimes forget. I am proud because I love sites that celebrate Entrepreneurs. I am proud of soldiers, past and present. God BLESS America.
